Superior Iron Works, Inc. Welder Fabricator (Day and Night Positions Available) in Sterling, Virginia

Superior Iron Works, Inc. is a growing AISC certified miscellaneous metals/ structural steel fabricator and erector in the DC, VA and MD areas. We are currently looking for full-time motivated individuals interested in metal fabrication and welding.

Primary duties include: Measuring, laying out, fitting fabricated metal work according to blueprints, welding, forming, rolling, grinding, cutting and sanding metal, and general labor. Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints, instructions, and must be able to lift 50 lbs.

High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required).

One year of welding experience required to be considered for this position.

Day shift hours are 7am 3:30pm Monday Friday; Night shift hours are 3:30 pm - midnight. Compensation will be determined based on experience and skill level.

Must have own transportation. Health insurance, vacation, and profit sharing offered (after a period of time).
