Raytheon The Software QA/Tester will work as part of a team supporting a suite of applications supporting global mission activities. These applications are based on products such as AWS, Oracle, SharePoint, and other web-based solutions. This role will verify developed software meets the specified requirements and produces the desired result combined with ensuring any defects are identified and documented. The person in this role will have polished skills in building test cases based on use case development mythologies as well as knowledge and experience with automated testing. The portfolio contains, but is not a complete list of, the following:

A custom production application that has a central repository for the search and discovery of internal document sensitive data and associated artifacts.

A custom production application which provides workflow and research with the ability to review, disposition, build a profile and update or nominate candidates to other Partner organizations.

A targeting and knowledge management tool which stores products in a centralized repository making it easy for search and discovery.

In this role, the Software QA/Tester will perform the following functions (may include but is not limited to):

Develop, perform, and support manual and automated integration and regression testing.

Develop, perform, and support post deployment validation of components.

Develop and maintain test plans and scripts to identify software problems and causes.

Provide analysis and recommendations for automation of test suites.

Develop automated scripts to decrease the time needed to perform testing.

Develop automated scripts to decrease the likelihood of bugs or unplanned outages.

Work with applications in a cloud environment.

Work side by side with project teams on a daily basis to consult with the development and operations teams to test applications.

Work in a team environment with contractors from multiple companies.

Participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development cycle.

Participate as a member of the agile development team.

Write test cases and scenarios.

Develop and execute test plans, procedures and scenarios for regression, performance, process, functional, system integration and Agile (deliverable) acceptance testing to ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and perform satisfactorily in the system environments.

Document the successes and failures of all executed test procedures.

A large, multifaceted program is searching for a Software Configuration Manager(SWCM) to follow the basic principles of Configuration Management. S/He will establish and maintain integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. The individual will provide support the development team in providing innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and common architecture. The person in this role will be part of a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products, legacy and emerging.

The SWCM department is looking for a full-time and on-site - Software Configuration Management Engineer, located on-site in Northern VA.

Status Accounting & Configuration Audits

Product Release

Manage digital product development libraries

Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning

SWCM Tool administration / manage all access to the source code repository (i.e. AWS CodeCommit / Git)

Administer/manage SecDevOps tools

Facilitate the Digital Change Review Board (DCRB)

Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.

Experience with version control and change management tool(s)

Software Configuration Management technology, Information Technology (IT), and/or development experience

Solid proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
