Titan America Customer Service Rep II in Sterling, Virginia

Titan Virginia Ready Mix has an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative in Sterling, VA. This is a salaried non-exempt position reporting to the Dispatch Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the highest level of customer satisfaction including order taking, dispatching, scheduling of drivers and deliveries, delivery efficiency, and inter-department communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching and customer relations

  • Maintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system

  • Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints

  • Provide customer support to ensure maximum efficiency

  • Embraces and enhances a performance based Safety Culture

  • Is positive and upbeat in all communications with customers and other departments

  • Relentlessly pursues a solution to every issue that a customer brings to them

  • Deep desire to exceed expectations of internal and external customers; not satisfied with just meeting expectations

  • Identify and communicate repairs and maintenance of logistics communication equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School education or equivalent required, secondary education preferred

  • Two to four years experience in dispatch or logistics required; construction industry experience preferred

  • Ability to work well under pressure; previous customer service experience in a high-pressure/high-volume environment required

  • Excellent PC skills, Excel, Outlook, and Word; previous experience with Trimble a plus

  • Familiar with geographical areas in Northern Virginia

  • Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime

  • Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
