Insight Global Network Administrator - Hybrid - Warren, MI in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to work for a DoD customer based out of Warren, MI. The Network Engineer will be working within the cyber security team and will be arbitrating whether devices can connect to the network or not This person will be responsible to work as a network admin/engineer and will be working downstream of an audit where they will be configuring network devices to be in compliance with STIGs. The engineer will have admin related tasks and hold elevated privileges of the network. The ideal candidate will be ready to jump into the role and take ownership of responsibilities. This is a hybrid role with an onsite expectation of once per week in Warren, MI.

Skills and Requirements

* Active Secret clearance

* DoD 8570.1-M IAT II or IAT III baseline certification

* CCNA Certification

* 5+ years of experience configuring network systems

o Utilizing Command Line Interface or GUI for configurations

* Experience configuring cisco switches/cisco firewall devices/VPNs

* Familiarity with STIGS (security technical implementation guides) * Experience with ISE (identity service engine)

* Experience with ansible (configuring things)

* Experience with Linux Container Networking (Podman, Docker, or Kubernetes)

* Familiarity with mellonox onyx null
