Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Stephen, MN. From: 05/19/2024 - 11/22/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 08/21/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs. Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Maintain inventory, ordering materials as required. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Inventory and order materials and supplies. Crops: Corn, Dry Beans, Soybeans, Spring Wheat. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
