DeVine Consulting, Inc. Rust Programmer, Secret Clearance, onsite in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi

DeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.  

Our company is looking for a Rust Programmer to join our team at Stennis Space Center, in Mississippi, and current secret clearance or higher is prefered. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may apply. 

The Rust Programmer will join DeVine and work on development of applications & services; and also participate in back end development as a software engineer. This individual must be highly motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of applications for internal websites in the Rust programming language

  • Interpret complex requests & implement based on aggressive timelines

  • Work on multiple tasks independently with little direction

  • Compare, process, organize and compile information

  • Demonstrate technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex technical information in simple terms

  • Recognize trends and provide relevant solutions

  • Motivated individual who can engage others effectively

    Experience and qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience with Rust programming preferred

  • Java and/or Python experience

  • Experience with web services and Linux operating systems desired 

  • Experience with Perl, Postgres, Geoserver, JavaScript a plus

  • Experience with Software Documentation, Testing, and code Maintenance

  • Knowledge of how web applications perform in different web browsers

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to engage others effectively

  • Enjoy working with a small team

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Current Secret Clearance preferred

  • Security+ certification desired

    Position Type: Full-time

Compensation: 60K to 90K per year, DOE skills and experience
