The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Join our Digital Workspace team as a Solutions Architect to improve and modernise our End User Computing solutions.

  • Explore opportunities for improvement, development, planning, architecture, and design of End User Computing (EUC) solutions to enable secure and modern solutions.

  • Provide in-depth knowledge, experience, and advice in development of EUC strategy and architecture.

  • Understand and translate business requirements and develop detailed technical design and implementation plans.

  • Provide strategic roadmap and advice on Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) for Windows, MacOS, mobile devices and other special devices.

  • Security (end-point security, patch management), assess, approve, and implement security policies.

  • Contribute to different Architecture networks and projects.

  • Participate or lead taskforces and projects, and be a role model in driving change and modernisation.

You

  • 7+ years’ relevant experience with an IT academic background.

  • Experienced solution architect with in-depth experience and insight to market trends, vendor landscape, and emerging opportunities across various technologies related to End User Computing (EUC) and cloud technologies.

  • Technical skills and experience within some of these areas, where certification is seen as a plus:

  • End User Computing Architecture.

  • Virtual Apps and Desktops solutions (Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, CloudPC).

  • Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE.

  • Security (end-point security, patch management).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell).

  • Cloud architecture (Azure, Citrix Cloud).

  • Network infrastructure.

  • Structured, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions across different areas.

  • A team player with experience working according to LEAN and Agile methodologies.
