*Position Summary: *

Our dedicated staff provide comprehensive supports for nearly 50,000 children and families in targeted, under-resourced New York City neighborhoods. We know what it takes to ensure children grow up strong and healthy, and ready to thrive in school and life: excellent education and health care, social-emotional support, and strong, stable families.

We are seeking qualified and responsible lifeguards to work in our 7-week summer camp program.

*Responsibilities: *

  • Guard pool area**

  • Enforce pool rules**

  • Insure pool safety**

  • Assist in Buddy System of campers at swim time**

  • Provide daily swim lessons to campers**

  • Help implement pool safety plan**

*Qualifications: *

  • Must be 16 years of age

  • Must maintain all appropriate lifeguard certifications
