ABM Industries Floor Tech Full Time Evening in Starke, Florida

Overview

The Floor Technician completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors. Must be willing to travel while working including weekends.

Responsibilities

Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

Assists with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.

Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created

Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners

Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities

Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.

Assists in emergencies as needed

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Floor Tech Experience, including stripping, waxing and buffing floors.

1 yr of similar work experience
