Point Broadband Fiber Holding LLC Drop Coordinator in Stanton, Michigan

Summary:

Drop Coordinators role is to ensure all drop burys are completed in accordance with company goals and objectives. Works with the local markets to coordinate in-house crews and contractors to complete all fiber drops, road bores and splicing required to assure customer is ready for their scheduled install date. Keep up-to-date trackers and reports for daily accurate and timely information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All pending drops have a pending drop order in the billing system
  • All drop orders are completed on or before the scheduled completion date
  • Ensure that all drops are buried in accordance with the company guidelines
  • Work with the markets to ensure any drop in jeopardy will be completed by the scheduled date, if not contact the customer and update them on the new date
  • Where appropriate update mapping software with drop information
  • Map & Miss Dig new orders to the appropriate type of installation required
  • Assign work to contractors (map and customer information)
  • Coordinate with the necessary team members if something requires expedited attention
  • Submit and store permits for any drops and road bores for an installation
  • Update tracker sheets when necessary for weekly and monthly reporting
  • Ability to work with Operations Managers & Field Supervisors at multiple locations to resolve scheduling conflict and other issues as needed to provide
  • Work with the markets in other states to ensure all underground drops are buried on or before the scheduled dates
  • If a date is not going to be made contact the customer with the updated schedule
  • Providing accurate and effective information where needed to all drop activities

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two (2) years of work experience. Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
  • Similar experience with broadband/telecommunications industry is a plus
  • Prior experience helpful but not necessary using various operating systems such as Omnia360, Salesforce and VETRO fiber design platform
  • Past role that involved oversight of multiple ongoing activities in various stages of progression
  • Other experience that align with primary/core responsibilities as defined above
