JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist performs community interface and scheduling duties for the Agency.

The Receptionist shall be committed to the mission, vision, and values of Stansbury Service Agency and demonstrate such through ethical conduct, community stewardship, individual initiative, and responsive service.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Business Manager.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the community and public and handle routine inquiries. Promote a positive attitude among SSA personnel and other contacts.
  • Answer telephone, direct calls, and take messages.
  • Ensure guests are greeted and welcomed as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Oversee the scheduling of the Clubhouse, Pool, and other rentable Agency amenities.
  • Ensure the facilities are maintained and ready for public use.
  • Oversee that all required documentation is received for organizations and residents to use facilities and parks.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and transcribing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
