The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Resident Assistant (RA) in Stamford, New York

Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation and Nurisng is seeking Resident Assistants (RA). This is an entry-level position and a great way to start in the medical field!

  • Full-time or Part-Time

  • Day or Evening Shift

  • First in line for the next Paid CNA Class (required)

RA Duties Include:

  • Assist with transport of residents

  • Pass out clothing protectors prior to meal.

  • Distribute meal trays and assist with meal set-up as needed.

  • Make beds and straighten room and refill water pitchers.

  • Round on the units for cleanliness.

  • Answer call bells.

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

RA Qualifications:

  • The ability to read, write, and speak English.

  • Solid moral character, patience and the appropriate attitude toward the geriatric population.

  • Ability and willingness to follow the direction and learn new concepts and procedures.

  • Must be able to be on feet almost 100% of the work day.

  • Must have full range of motion to allow for kneeling, reaching; pulling, etc. during performance of job duties.

  • Physically able to lift or move up to 35# without assistance.
