Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant in our Stamford, CT headquarters to support our ReadyRefresh and Retail Organizations. This position will report to the ReadyRefresh Accounting Manager .

This role will provide accounting support to the ReadyRefresh Accounting team and act as a vital decision support business partner. In addition, focused support will be provided to the Retail Accounting team. Monthly closing activities are a key part of the role and are performed to ensure accurate, complete financials in accordance with BlueTriton Brands Accounting Standards. The role will include providing our business partners with key insights and/or recommendations based on our analytical reviews. In addition, this role will ensure the financial system meets current and anticipated future needs as well as play an active role on cross-functional efficiency projects. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform monthly closing activities

• Perform monthly P&L analysis and KPI reporting

• Provide accounting support for the RMS Database

• Provide accounting support/documentation for internal & external audit requests

• Liaison with Business Partners on accounting questions; perform research and provide proper recommendations

• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and associated analysis

• Accountable for quarterly magnitude reporting schedules

• Responsible for managing the Trade & Marketing coupon settlement process for the Retail business.

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

• CPA or equivalent, is required (in process of getting CPA is ok)

• Must have BA/BS in Accounting, MBA a plus

• 5-7 years of general Financial, Accounting (GAAP and/or IAS) and Business principles experience

• CPG experience is a plus

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact on a daily basis with a variety of cross functional business partners

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to act independently and make recommendations and/or decisions

• Ability to prioritize and manage changing responsibilities while adhering to deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (a must), Word and PowerPoint; SAP
