STEM & Game Truck Operator

Location:Stafford, VA

Job Purpose

To drive the truck and trailer in tow. In addition to driving the vehicle and resources in tow, the operator will provide gaming setup services to the contracted party.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Conduct a physical inspection on the STEM & Game Truck, generator, and trailer before each trip.

  • Ensure that the truck and generator have sufficient fuel and travel documents.

  • Refuel the truck with diesel fuel and the generator with unleaded gasoline.

  • Tow the STEM & Game trailer to scheduled events using the designated company truck.

  • Record the venue surroundings upon arrival and before leaving the event venue.

  • Operate the hardware and software inside of the STEM & Game trailer.

  • Provide administration with feedback regarding software and hardware issues.

  • Provide administration with suggestions from customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid state license (Class D).

  • Experience with towing a 24ft+ trailer.

  • The ability to scale a ladder (minimum height of three feet).

  • Physical strength to attach a three-pound chain to a latch.

  • Basic knowledge of operating gaming consoles.

  • Basic knowledge of operating a computer system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid state license (Class B).

  • Experience in towing large trailers.

  • Experience in troubleshooting digital hardware and software.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well with a team.

Working Conditions

Primarily in an outdoors environment.
