Job Description

  • Draft, modify, review, and/or recommend changes to program management and acquisition documentation in support of the acquisition life cycle in accordance with the DoD 5000 series, Marine Corps Systems Command Acquisition Guidebook, and MCSC documentation templates (Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)).

      * Recommend changes to include improvements to existing documentation related to product development and/or procedures.

      * Prepare agendas and executive summaries, conduct presentation of materials and action item tracking as well as coordination, scheduling, and conduct of meetings, and draft meeting minutes.

      * Provide updates into the Government's risk management tool system, update risk registry, conduct risk reporting, and status reporting in support of designed program management and risk management events.

Review and analyze current configuration management plans for programmatic and logistics elements to assist in the drafting of Configuration Management Plan Addendums.

Skills and Requirements

  • The applicant must have working knowledge of DOD 5000 series polices/guidebooks

      * Experience with Integrated Master Scheduling, Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).

      * In depth knowledge of GCSS-MC (Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps) , WebFLIS and Catalyst.

      * Experience reviewing program documents and vendor deliverables (e.g., CDRLs, Studies, Analysis, Reports) for compliance and completeness with logistics statutes, policies, and standards.

      * Experience using Government provided software tools.

      * Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access and Teams).

Experience developing recommended parts lists for testing, coordinate parts, supply, and maintenance support for testing. null
