ManTech Physical Security Specialist in Stafford, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a Physical Security Officer with related Alternate Contract Specialist Security Officer duties to join our team in our Stafford, VA location.

Flexible/Rotating Shift – Business hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Develops and implements physical security solutions for support to ManTech’s industrial security program

  • Performs or manages installation of access control systems, alarm systems, video camera systems, and construction of secure facilities in accordance with Government requirements

  • Directly supervise three (3) access control personnel

  • Maintains Enterprise access control and video camera systems, maintains access control rosters, proximity access control administration

  • Manages policy and issuance of badges for all company personnel and visitors. Is the system administrator for ManTech’s access control system to include updating data, troubleshooting, auditing, provide quality control, run reports, program hardware additions within the software, etc.

  • Knowledge and training in C*CURE.

  • Has knowledge of secure locks and related systems to include changing combinations and troubleshooting

  • Assists with the Security Education Training and Awareness Program

  • Assists with conducting New Hire orientation to incoming personnel

  • Assists the Contractor Special Security Officer with SSO duties as needed.

  • Coordinating after hours alarm response

  • Participating in the DCSA Industrial Security reviews and assessments.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with MS Office

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Project Management skills

  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work well under pressure

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI required to start

Physical Requirements:

  • Talking, Standing, Speaking, Medium Work - Normal Requirements Lift 50lbs Lifting, Reaching, Walking, Carrying, Up and down ladder, No Adverse Environmental Conditions, Kneeling
