Fluence Analytics Engineer I in Stafford, Texas

Yokogawa Fluence Analytics is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated, experienced, full-time Engineer who will work closely with the Manager of Engineering to optimize the company’s engineering improvements and continuous enhancement efforts to meet accelerating demand for the company’s products. Previous experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing of products for industrial e.g. petrochemical, oil & gas applications is required. Previous work with fluidic systems, or measurement products is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Manager of Engineering on designing and implementing changes to existing and future products through Onshape, OpenBOM and other supporting platforms

  • Create and manage the release of design drawings for procurement, manufacturing and QA

  • Work closely with Manufacturing on component selection, custom part ordering and procurement

  • Assist manufacturing in the assembly of ACOMP units

  • Work with customers to ensure product design meets set specifications and provide supporting documentation

  • Contribute to Design Review and Project Review Meetings

  • Provide and receive feedback to/from Manufacturing and Design Engineering for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, science or technology discipline (mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering preferred)

  • Proficiency in CAD software (Onshape preferred)

  • Ability to cross-manage information streams across multiple platforms

  • Ability to read and make recommendations to P&ID layout

  • An understanding of QA needs for process industry equipment products

  • Self-starter – efficient and effective in an environment requiring multitasking

  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written – contribute to design and manufacturing reviews

  • Organized and diligent - a reliable doer

  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics

  • Must be capable of executing tasks

Bonus Qualifications

  • Direct experience with process analyzer technologies for industrial applications

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools
