INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join Th e North Face within VF EMEA Internship Program.

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO

  • Start date: October 1st 2024.

  • For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month.

  • We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Assisting FP&A team in the Yearly Financial Budget and Monthly Financial Forecast process.

  • Build yearly budget and long-term strategic plan (Sales/Margin/expenses).

  • Perform monthly analysis and follow-ups of Actual results.

  • Marketing spending tracking.

  • Prepare periodic results packages for Top Management.

  • Analyze periodic results with accounting and reporting departments.

  • Analyze and understand Forecast variances vs Plan, Prior Forecast and Prior Year.

  • Support other departments (mainly Sales and Marketing) to help achieve business results and brand goals.

  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis or business case simulations for Top Management.

  • Load Forecast and Plan data into financial systems and ensure accuracy of the figures reported.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • You will have a student status while beginning an internship or you have graduated already before in 2024 – it’s a must.

  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.

  • You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.

  • First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
