Note: This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in the office a minimum of 8 days per month at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.

Job Summary:

As part of the IT Wealth Management division, the Manager of Product Management will direct the daily operations of associates responsible for the product ownership of numerous advisor facing Wealth Management technology applications. Develops strong working relationships with the management of assigned business units to facilitate collaboration and remove roadblocks. Provides administrative oversight, to include employee attendance tracking, budget preparation and reconciliation, and oversight of projects assigned to the department. Resolves escalated issues and presents solutions to complex problems. Interfaces with numerous levels of management and outside customers to gather feedback and drive decisions for core products. Partners with development managers to plan and coordinate ongoing functional releases and strategic solutions to meet end user needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily operations of assigned team - plans, assigns, monitors, reviews, evaluates and leads the work of associates.

  • Performs supervisory activities, including identifying performance problems and seeking guidance for remedial action; reviewing performance; and participating in interviewing and selecting staff.

  • Works with team members and technology partners to streamline processes and ensure project deliverables are met.

  • Communicates with various department leads to ensure product rollouts are effective and service teams are prepared to assist customers with new functionality.

  • Has direct ownership of certain products, working to ensure that product managers are delivering beneficial solutions and minimizing disruption to end clients.

  • May be accountable for various projects to improve efficiency and drive productivity and quality.

  • Implements department policies and procedures; reviews for relevance and monitors associates to ensure compliance.

  • Acts as intermediary and facilitator to help resolve ongoing and/or complex issues.

  • May assist with preparation and monitoring of department budget.

  • May handle escalated issues and/or perform duties similar to subordinates as staffing needs dictate.

  • May participate in or lead small to medium sized department projects.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Has general knowledge of the advisory business and understands the needs of our end clients.

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including agile product development, testing & product management & support.

  • Product management methodologies.

Skilled in:

  • People development and leadership.

  • Product planning and road mapping tools, such as TFS, JIRA, Microsoft Planner.

  • Working within a project centric organization, leading efforts to deliver tangible results.

Ability to:

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience including management or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Ideally at least one (1) to three (3) years of management experience is highly preferred.

  • Financial Services experience highly preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required.

  • SIE, Series 7, or Series 65/66 are nice to have.
