Food Service Production Manager (St. Petersburg, FL.)

 

The Foodservice Production Manager is responsible for managing the (BOH) food service needs for our exclusive Senior Living Community. The Foodservice Production Manager must have strong culinary experience and possess the ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume tray-line production kitchen. The Culinary Production Manager will report to both the Director of Dining Services and the Assistant Director of Dining Services. Responsibilities include (BOH) food ordering, production schedules, food-safety training, and adherence to sanitation practices.

The Culinary Production Manager must have a passion for culinary creativity and believe in following standards while leading through example. Must have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and recognize the satisfaction that comes from serving the food and nutrition needs of long-term care residents. The best candidate will have exceptional skills in the areas of food safety, detail-oriented approach to planning, organizing, and task assignment delegation with a firm but fair approach toward team member accountability.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5 years of prior kitchen management as lead chef or supervisor role

  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to emerging priorities

  • Possess a strong work ethic and personal integrity

  • Serve-Safe Manager Certification required

  • Comply with facility AHCA background screening and drug testing
