Position Description The role of an Operational Excellence Standard Work Facilitator is a joint focus with primary responsibility to facilitate mapping of processes, authoring Standard Work with subject matter experts, maintaining Standard Work, and working with the Director and Deployment Leaders as required to advance McGough's Lean transformation efforts. This is a 1.5-2-year rotational position within McGough. Responsibilities and Tasks Facilitate Teams: Lead Teams in Process Mapping activities needed to create Standard Work. Coordinate planning sessions, progress reviews, field events, and Lean learning sessions across the McGough enterprise locations in a "one company" manner. Continuous Improvement: Help integrate lean principles and practices into existing and new processes used across the company to improve business performance. Develop, Manage and work with teams on Continuously Improve processes. Stand Your Ground: Hold standard work creators and owners to the McGough standards we have in place for the Standard Work System. Push people to complete tasks in a respectful manner Develop Yourself and Others: Professional growth and development through participation in company offered educational programs and workshops, and external lean organizations. Support the Operational Excellence Team in the analysis and deployment of value streams and Lean solutions in support of the company's Lean transformation strategy. Assist with the development and deployment of topic-focused training and improvement events to help educate leaders and contributors. (i.e., help with trainings on standard work materials) Qualifications Preferred: 2+ years at McGough to understand our processes Successfully completed McGough's Lean Essentials Class or equivalent Understands 8 wastes, 5S (6S), PDCA, making visuals Understand basics of process improvement Actively participates in McGough's Innovation Initiative Has facilitated small groups for a purpose or outcome Skills: McGough's Competencies: Demonstrates and exemplifies McGough's Employee Competencies (Lives Integrity, Customer Focused, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Demonstrates Energy, Results Oriented and Respects Relationships). Technical Skills: MS Office and broader suite of applications (Visio, Power BI, OneNo e, etc.) and Bluebeam Office and Travel Office:, Primary location is one of McGough's Offices Travel: Local, Regional and National offices and jobsites may be necessary, overnight travel will be required. Will need to travel to facilitate groups or work with sites for certain types of work products.
