PCS FOR PEOPLE Shipping Associate in St. Paul, Minnesota

About the Role This full-time position is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments. This position will prepare items for shipment by performing assigned duties to PCs for People s quality and productivity standards. It is expected that time will be split between: 85% picking and packing products for shipment 10% receiving shipments 5% other duties as assigned Key Role Responsibilities Reviewing work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided Maintaining files of shipping records Work with managers on improving process Tracing missing or lost shipments Receiving incoming shipments and physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and departments. Moving items may require use of carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and pallet lifts Rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Handling returns and exchanges by ensuring that reverse distribution processes are followed properly Keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Test keyboards and monitors Assemble keyboard packs Gather and pack all equipment needed for online, bulk, and Ebay/surplus orders Make bubble wrap PID monitors Help facilitate with volunteers Maintain clean and organized work space Palletize bulk orders and wrap Assist with freight pick-ups Receive packages from freight/FedEx/UPS/etc Give supervisors copies of shipping paperwork/BOL Add PIDs and MEIDs to bulk order sheet Maintain accuracy of bulk order sheet Maintain inventory of supplies Complete NLAD sheet for ACP errors Customer service support Create shipping labels Tie computers and hotspots to client accounts Understand KPI goals and meet them Requirements Desired Skills/Qualifications High School diploma Strong communication skills essential Packaging knowledge a plus Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively Ability to estimate and meet deadlines Passion for computers and technology Computer repair experience helpful Ability to pass background check Benefits We are a growing non-profit and expect this position to drive continued growth.
