Senior Marketing Content Specialist ID 2023-1885 Position Number PRF162 # of Openings 1 Category The Office of Marketing & Communications Type Full-Time FLSA Status Exempt Months per year 12 Benefit Eligible Benefit Eligible Job Summary Work collaboratively in the creation, strategic planning, implementation, and measurement of communications and marketing projects and campaigns to support institutional objectives/goals and the Bethel University brand. Responsibilities Serve as lead writer, editor and content strategist, working with colleagues to develop Bethel\'s content strategy with the goal of increasing conversions across print, web, email, text, ads, and other content channels. Develop original content for the web, email, social media, print, video, and advertising in support of Bethel\'s brand and marketing strategies. Proofread for other department projects as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills Strong editorial skills and experience in a variety of writing style from informative to promotional, from consumer to executive targeted. Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people Strong organizational skills. Ability to lead meetings. Ability to collaborate across teams and functional lines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with sensitive or confidential information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and electronic editing; familiarity with AP style is desired. Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Required Experience 4+ years of experience required; Prior experience in communications, marketing preferred. Experience managing direct marketing campaigns executed through multiple channels; experience in online marketing and communications, as well as project management; experience in fundraising strongly preferred. Required Education Bachelor\'s degree required; Emphasis in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred. Master\'s degree preferred. Additional Information Must be comfortable sharing an office as well as working in two different offices. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
