Regions Hospital Scheduling Specialist Cancer Center in St. Paul, Minnesota
Regions Cancer Center is seeking a scheduling specialist with strong organizational and customer service skills to join our team. Under the direction of the Supervisor Cancer Center Scheduling, provides exceptional customer service functions in a personable and professional manner. These functions include patient registration, insurance verification, complex and coordinated scheduling across numerous departments, and other clerical functions in the oncology setting, which includes clinic as well as chemotherapy/infusion activities. Must be able to think critically and ask questions as appropriate. This role facilitates communication between staff, providers, and other departments. Manages many activities impacting patient care. Performs other related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Mon-Fri various start times Day Shift Required Qualifications: Minimum 1-year previous clerical and/or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare setting.
