Regions Hospital Registered Nurse - Mental Health in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing team as a RN in Mental Health to work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others! This mental health unit has 20 private rooms/bathrooms (some handicapped accessible), separate dining and day room space, a spacious group room, a comfort room, and open areas for visiting and relaxing. In addition, patients have access to a large activity room and a secured outdoor space. This unit provides care to patients 18 years and older that are experiencing an acute mental health illness of moderate to severe acuity. We also care for patients undergoing in-patient electro-convulsive therapy (ECT). In addition, patients may have medical/surgical conditions that are being treated and require intervention. At Regions, we believe that mental health is as important to overall well-being as physical health. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses.
