Job Title:R&D Technician II Location: St. Paul, MN, 55117 Shift: 8 AM - 4: 00 PM Duration:04 Months Job Description: Position Overview: Hands on, lots of mechanical work, involves specifically testing heart valves and other medical devices. Hands on, working with a lot of equipment. A lot of maintenance on the equipment. Quality functions/documentation Lots of things to learn, attention to detail. Computer interfaces, some electrical. Combination of computer interfacing, data acquisition. Some equipment knowledge. Tools: LabView (able to navigate a computer), basic hand tools, MS Office (Excel, PPT) Could lift up to 40-50. Will do team lifting and have others to help with the lifting. Testing type: ability and hydrodynamic testing. Could be opportunity for Tencel testing but not necessarily needing that knowledge. Have procedures and training to assist on that. Could be delivery system evaluation for medical devices. Must Have Skills: Mechanical Experience required: HSD: need some experience at this level 2+ years (could be oil change shop, just hands on work) someone in entry level, tech degree, engineering tech degree. This background with hands on experience. Fairly new/entry level. Looking for more mechanical experience Must have strong attention to detail. Testing the equipment.
