The QM develops strategies for product and/or technology platforms, defining improved equipment and operational standards that can optimize future safety, efficiency, quality, and costs. This person will deploy and roll out best practices through collaboration with RD&E and supply chain, and is the local leader for plant quality incidents, interacting closely with corporate, to drive resolution and corrective action. What You Will Do: Ensure Quality System is implemented in locations supported per Ecolab standards. Lead internal and external auditing. Provide leadership for ISO 9001:2015 compliance and regulatory compliance (UL, ETL and NSF). Support and lead TPM objectives throughout the plant with the Progressive Quality (PQ) Pillar. Work cooperatively with Manufacturing, Distribution, Engineering, R&D and Corporate Quality to identify root causes of quality issues and implement processes to resolve and prevent issues. Regularly update local Management Team and Corporate Quality on quality initiatives and progress. Collect and report on Customer Quality indicators. Local manage equipment specifications includes manuals, assembly prints, BOMs and work instructions. Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams to lead root cause investigations and implement processes to resolve and prevent issues. Work with Purchasing & Procurement to manage supplier quality and resolve part nonconformance. Drive improvements to the manufacturing plant processes, procedures and products. Interface with external stakeholders (i.e. - corporate, field reps, marketing, etc.) for issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and drive improvements in quality specifications for products and raw materials. Provide training and auditing tools for Manufacturing and Distribution associates. Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, plant equipment and distribution activities meet specifications. Generate, implement, and lead programs to improve quality indicators and plant performance, in line with cost, investment and service goals. Regularly update local Management Team and Corporate Quality on quality initiatives and progress. Sustain and promote a safe work environment and mentor/coach team members towards toward a "best in class" high performance organization. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field 7 years working in a quality and/or engineering role. 3 years supervising a technical staff. Knowledge of ISO 9001. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Preferred Qualifications: Project management experience. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, FDA, and other regulatory compliance. Experience working in a matrix organization. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified. Knowledge of or experience deploying TPM.
