Patient Care Assistant/Nursing Assistant 0.5 E Job ID:57255 Department:Nrsg S8 Cardiac Medicine City:St Paul, MN Location:RH - Regions Hospital and Clinics Position Type:Part-Time Anticipated Work Schedule:40 hours per 2 week pay period. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Evening shift - 3:00pm-11:30pm. Responsibilities: This position performs activities of daily living (ADLs) on a daily basis, provides patient care treatments including discontinuing IV's and restraint monitoring, and collects patient data including vital signs, weights, intake and output. This position also collects routine patient specimens such as urine, stool, and finger stick blood glucose as directed. Patient Care Assistants respond to call lights and requests, and assist nurses with procedures as requested. This position also documents and charts care provided in the electronic health record. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) CPR Card required.
