Regions Hospital MRI Technologist in St. Paul, Minnesota

Work with a great team and cutting edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety. This job provides: Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner. Focus around MRI safety. Creative work schedule and more time outside of work. Lots of variety - rotation through both clinics and Regions Hospital. No call! Work Schedule: Evenings, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Required Qualifications: Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible within six months (must have the advanced ARRT registry in MRI within one year of hire). BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program. Additional Information: This is a non-union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) evening shift position working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $33.49-$47.47 per hour, based on experience and internal equity, plus shift differentials and a $7500 sign on bonus. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits.
