Ecolab Inc Logistics Procurement Manager - 3PL Warehousing in St. Paul, Minnesota

Ecolab Company has an opening for a new Procurement Manager in our Logistics Procurement Team located in St. Paul, MN. This new global leadership role will have direct procurement ownership over the Global 3PL warehousing category (100+ locations, $120M spend) with support from regional procurement partners. They will help define and implement the global component of this role, relying on prior experience and industry expertise to effectively engage various global logistics and procurement teams to create and execute global strategies and enable continuous improvement. The strong performer will be recognized as a procurement strategy expert and will collaborate with cross functional teams including but not limited to global logistics, North America logistics, key global suppliers, and industry experts. What You Will Do: Informs, creates and implements global category strategy leveraging experience and industry expertise Identifies, develops, and implements global and regional sourcing strategies to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and improve security of supply Provides leadership, coaching and feedback on the Total Delivered Cost sourcing process to build capability and mature practices across a global team Conducts global calls with procurement partners around the world to communicate global strategy and ensure regional implementation and local execution Effectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to leadership teams as required Develops contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions for to the benefit of Ecolab business requirements and goals Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to regions and business units to support margin and top line growth Effectively implements strategic supplier strategies and initiatives to achieve maximum value at both a regional and global level Develops, aligns, and drives strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficiencies Leads, coaches, and develops supporting team or cross functional teams to ensure strong performance and build high performing teams Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain Experience in 3PL warehousing procurement and/or operations leadership Familiarity with 3PL warehousing pricing and contracts Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field 7 years of experience in 3PL warehousing procurement Experience in global 3PL warehousing procurement and/or operations leadership Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field Demonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others Demonstrated skills in clear communication and presentation Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.Click here to see our benefits.
