Ecolab Inc Global Consolidation Accounting Manager in St. Paul, Minnesota

The Global Consolidation Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising and performing various accounting, reporting, and analysis duties related to the global consolidation, as well as project work as assigned. This role reports to the Global Consolidation Manager II. What You Will Do: Develop and maintain collaborative, cooperative, effective partnerships with Country Controllers, local accounting staff, and Corporate Functions (Tax, Treasury, CP&A and Public Financial Reporting) Monitor, validate, and review monthly financial statement submissions of international subsidiaries Pro-actively research and correspond with countries on submission issues and questions Serve as primary contact for countries on accounting and reporting questions, training, etc. Review & validate high level specific accounting issues Perform accounting activities and related analysis for Corporate processes Complete special projects as assigned Maintain and improve processes, procedures, and documentation Support and cross train team members on department responsibilities Supervise and review the monthly activities (e.g., flux analyses and journal entries) of two Staff Accountants Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 8 years of Accounting experience Previous supervisory experience No immigration sponsorship available for this position Preferred Qualifications: MBA, CPA or CMA Familiarity with consolidation accounting and consolidation systems a plus, especially HFM Accounting related SAP experience (CO and/or ledger modules) Ability to work with a high level of initiative and adaptability in a dynamic environment #LI-Hybrid Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.to see our benefits.
