Randstad is searching for a Machinist with CNC Lathe setup and operation experience for a well-established company in the St Paul, MN area. The company is a leading precision job shop that provides Engineering, Milling, Turning, Sheet Metal, Welding, Custom Tool Grinding, and Inspection services. salary: $58,240 - $77,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Accomplish thorough setups and edits on CNC Lathes

An average of one setup a day with extensive tool changes - typically executing short runs

Run parts and test accuracies with various measurement tools

80% of work will be done on 17-4 Stainless Steel for various medical parts

Working in a team environment with a focus on detail, precision, and quality

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 10 hours at one time

  • working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

  • CNC Machining (5 years of experience is preferred)

  • CNC Setup (1 year of experience is required)

  • Lathe Machining

  • GibbsCam Programming (1 year of experience is preferred)

  • CNC programming (1 year of experience is required)

Qualifications
