Regions Hospital Advanced Practice Provider, Digestive Care in St. Paul, Minnesota
Regions Hospital is looking for an exceptional, patient focused Advanced Practice Provider to join our team and make a difference for our patients and our community. This Advanced Practice Provider will support inpatient units for our Regions Hospital digestive care/gastroenterology practice. GI Advanced Practice Providers manage a full patient caseload and are trusted experts in this specialized field. They provide new patient assessment for patients with liver and general GI disease; ongoing chronic disease management for this patient population; and between-visit partnership with patients in the management of their disease. These providers are an integral part of the GI team and the patient care they provide is foundational and essential in caring for the HealthPartners patient population with GI and liver disease. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Required Qualifications: * Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Physician Assistant program. * Licensed as a Physician Assistant OR currently licensed as an APRN in the state of MN and current MN RN license * Current APP certification as Physician's Assistant OR current APRN Specialty Certification * For PA, must be approved by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice for prescription writing privileges * Current BLS * Current DEA certification * Must maintain CME requirements * 1-year experience as a NP or PA Preferred Qualifications: * Digestive Care experience with a focus in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Our benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance, tuition reimbursement and robust CME reimbursement.
