Position: Administrative Assistant - Nursing Department Location: St. Paul, MN Job Id: 360315 # of Openings: 1 Administrative Assistant - Nursing Position Overview: The Concordia University-St. Paul (CSP) College of Nursing invites applications for an administrative assistant to support and coordinate administrative activities within the Nursing Department. Essential Duties: Provide professional and proactive administrative support to the college's dean, department chairs/directors, department faculty and students across all educational tracks and locations. Examples: Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes, coordinate events, manage supply and educational material inventories, prepare contract requests, maintain vendor and student rosters, prepare communications, and process requisitions. Follow administrative systems and procedures for the College of Nursing. Proctor exams. Support student admissions processes by preparing student materials for review. Support programmatic regulatory and accreditation compliance by assisting preparation and submission of appropriate reports and management of files. Interface with students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative and customer friendly manner. Other duties as assigned. Education and Training Profile: Bachelor's degree required. Work Experience: Preferred 3 years administrative support experience. Preferred 1-year administrative support experience in accredited higher education program. Competencies: Commitment to the mission and values of a Lutheran University. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment and successfully meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Preferred experience with student and learning management systems. Ability to creatively solve problems and formulate/implement process improvements. Professional demeanor with a collaborative spirit and friendly demeanor.
