Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and standards. Inspect food processing areas to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards for sanitation, safety, quality, and waste management. Define scope of testing, develop test plans, and create test protocols. Deliver effective training on Food Safety and Federal Regulations. Evaluate food processing and storage operations and assist in the development of quality assurance programs for such operations. Develop food standards and production specifications, safety and sanitary regulations, and waste management and water supply specifications. Maintain plant sanitation standards and processes to reduce food safety risks. Conduct Food Safety Audits to identify deviations in current process. Continuous improvement of manufacturing lines and shelf-life improvement project handling. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics, establish benchmarks, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with industry standards. Ensure that project and department goals are met and adhere to the approved budget. Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of existing quality assurance processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
