Shipping:

  • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Data entry to include posting weights, shipping charges and invoicing.
  • Assist with boxing or packaging and labeling of products to be shipped.

*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *

  • 1-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • 0-2 years purchasing experience (preferred not required)
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable.
  • Interpersonal skills and friendly attitude
  • Ability to work overtime or second shift when required.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to talk or hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
