Leidos Jr. Full Stack Software Developer - TS/SCI or higher in St. Louis, Missouri

Description

The Leidos Spatial Solutions team has an opening for an entry level Full Stack Software Developer to modify existing GOTS code and integrate open source software solutions for display and analysis within Aeronautical Production Systems. The applicant for this position will have familiarity across several code languages and be able to complete most aspects of a Front End or Back End task.

This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

The schedule for this position is Work from Home 3 days a week and 1 day at the St. Louis, MO Office and 1 day at the O'Fallon, IL Office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities will involve using cloud computing expertise to provide the system administration and modification of existing GOTS code to integrate open source software solutions for display in a web application. This role includes API development and database integration for interaction with React frameworks, using various open source packages for visualization and data filtering and code modifications that shall apply best practices in unit and build testing.

  • Applicant must possess experience with C#/Java and JavaScript/TypeScript. Other duties include working with PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, Visual Studio and familiarity with JSON APIs.

  • This role includes creation and documentation of new and existing functionality within software version control repositories (GitLab) and utilizing DevOps principals and tools to deliver new features within an Agile construct.

  • Participate in program Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, Increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration/functionality testing

  • Participate and collaborate with team members to assess tickets to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.

  • Requires BS degree, or Associates Degree with 2-4 years of prior experience or Masters degree with less than 2 years of prior experience.

  • Active TS/SCI

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with modern Javascript and/or C# development framework

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with REACT.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and Gitlab version control

  • Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

  • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 years of experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration

  • At least 1 years of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets

  • At least 1 years of experience with AWS cloud formation templates

  • At least 1 years of experience with Node, NPM, Swashbuckle, REST API, Sass

  • AWS Solutions or DevOps certification

  • Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
