Copeland Cybersecurity GRC Analyst in St. Louis, Missouri

Copeland has an exciting opportunity to build new cybersecurity programs, services, and teams for our new company, and we're looking for a motivated, energetic, and experienced professional to join the cybersecurity organization! The Cybersecurity GRC Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and controls to manage and mitigate risks. This individual will aid in the management of compliance with industry standards, regulations, and frameworks.

As a Cybersecurity GRC Analyst, You Will:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Assess compliance with policies, standards, and regulations through risk assessments, and control testing

  • Provide recommendations for remediation activities.

  • Facilitate governance activities and track remediation actions for vulnerabilities and deficiencies; and establish and implement resolutions based on risk impact and criticality

  • Collaborate with control owners to identify and address security vulnerabilities in current and emerging technologies

  • Support coordination of internal and external audits with internal process owners and other key stakeholders

  • Prepare reports with specified metrics related to compliance activities, audit results, remediation plans, and other compliance efforts

  • Proactively engage in large initiatives, while offering expertise in implementing security controls and advancing the overall security posture of new and existing solutions

  • Partner with relevant service providers to ensure expectations and SLAs are met

Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours:

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related degree

  • Strong knowledge of security and risk management frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, FAIR, and CIS

  • Experience building and executing cybersecurity strategies for a global organization.

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate in technical and business terms. Additionally, must be comfortable developing presentations and delivering them to senior management.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related degree plus eight (5) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Professional certifications in IT and Cybersecurity a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CGRC, etc.).

  • 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity roles (i.e., incident response, security operations, application security, etc.)

  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively.

  • Self-starter, strong initiative, critical thinker, self-directed with a proven track record to collaborate and inspire change.

  • Experience designing and implementing cybersecurity reporting and metrics (i.e., KPI/KRI development)
