We are seeking a compassionate, professional Social Worker and/or Case Manager to provide case management, home study assessments and adoption education and support through our Adoption Services in the St. Louis area. This Case Manager will provide adoption services and support to families considering various types of adoption including domestic, intercountry, independent, embryo and relative.

Duties

  • Provide effective assessment, education, counseling and case management to prospective adoptive families, adoptive families and adoptees.
  • Community education and outreach.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate, current community networks and interactions, in cooperation with program supervisors and staff.
  • Provide consultation and input to leadership for the program as requested
  • Continue professional growth and development such as cultural competence, social diversity, therapeutic and intervention techniques as related to job duties.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.

A Master's Degree is preferred for this position.

Case Manager or Social Worker Bachelors-Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling or other Human Behavior Science. Two years' experience with Child Welfare, Adoption, Foster Care, community resources and/or as a care coordinator.
