EDWARD JONES Business Resilience Coordinator - 92878BR in St. Louis, Missouri

The Business Resilience Coordinator will join the Business Resilience department as it grows, scales, and matures the firm's Business Resilience Program. In this role you would:

  • Support the work to align the Business Resilience program to the firm's enterprise risk framework. Become an expert in the systems and processes related to the role and execute effectively and efficiently.
  • Support the enterprise, segment and functional areas of the firm by gathering and validating data, with a focus on monitoring objectives, ensuring data integrity, reporting, and providing insights to Business Resilience Managers and Leadership. Supports the mitigation plans for moderate risks.
  • Prepare and enhance reporting packages to be shared with senior leadership on recurring basis.

Education/Certification

  • Preferred Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Services
  • Have or willing to obtain Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certification

Years of Relevant Experience

  • 2 Years of Experience in Risk Management, Business Resilience, Technology or related work experience
  • Required Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Business Continuity Planning Third Party Resilience, Governance, and/or Risk Management Experience
  • Plus Financial Services Industry Experience

Please note:Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.

  • Ability to deliver analysis that helps develop recommendations to minimize risk and improve program adherence. Develop and maintain strong knowledge related to the role and associated business processes
  • Gain an understanding of the of regulatory and firm requirements of the program, execute on established processes to support compliance with those regulations, and make recommendations to enhance or improve processes
  • Ability to deliver KPIs and develop dashboards that provide key performance insights to improve insights and BC Risk Management.

*Decision Making: *

  • Effectively communicate analysis recommendations to team, peers, and leaders for low to moderate risk processes.
  • Ability to package analysis into easily digestible materials, PowerPoints, and narratives.
  • Deliver formal training to business partners. Develop and maintain documentation for use within department and by business areas.
  • Provides input and feedback to team strategy.

  • Develop an internal network of relationships both within the BC specialization and with key stakeholders supporting the function and business areas. Has begun to establish trust based relationships, and has a network to rely on.
