Job Description
Grant's Farm is the 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family. A popular St. Louis destination since 1954, named for Ulysses S. Grant who originally worked a portion of the land. It is a long-standing landmark with more than 900 animal species.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibly serves alcohol to guests according to the Company’s alcohol service policy
Knowledge of Company’s food and beverage specifications
Works as a team with all employees in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the Company’s standards at all times
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
Knowledge of basic mixology and beer brands
Running cash register and processing payment of purchased drinks
Maintain inventory levels
Washes and sterilizes stemware
Anticipates Guest’s needs and acknowledges guests to provide excellent customer service
Maintain workplace safety procedures
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, ad be familiar with standard drink recipes
Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change
Basic computer skills
Must be available to work a flexible work schedule of days, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Multi-task oriented
Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test (TIPS)
Ability to pass Beer School
Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently
Must be able to work outdoors
