At CESO, it is the role of a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in accordance with deadlines and within budget. This includes but is not limited to working with and learning from the Project Manager for acquiring resources, and coordinating efforts with team members and third-party consultants. You will have primary responsibilities that include: • Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are completed as planned • Coordinate with the Project Manager on projects from the conceptual design phase through the permit approvals • Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing support and facilitating collaboration between different departments with seamless communication • Monitor project timelines and assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including schedules and progress reports • Assist in budget tracking and cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies • Identify potential risks and issues related to project execution and propose effective mitigation strategies • Contribute ideas and insights to enhance project management methodologies • Other project duties as assigned Position requirements include: • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or construction-related field; or 3+ years of experience and / or training • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Deltek, Newforma, and Paylocity • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to perform calculations related to project measurements, budgets, and materials. • Ability to manage time effectively and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment CESO is a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity.
