Schedule: 

Full Time: 6:00am -- 2:30pm, Monday -- Friday and overtime as required

 

*Position Summary: *

The Assembly Operator B will be required to build small and/or repetitive assemblies in the department. This person must have good work habits and get along with co-workers.

 

*Position Responsibilities: *

  • Make sure they have the correct parts for the assemblies they build, as specified on the work instructions
  • Complete schedule assemblies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stop production, take corrective action or involve the appropriate people to correct any conditions found to contribute to poor quality
  • Perform testing of selective assemblies prior to next operation

     

*Position Requirements: *

  • Able to read a ruler and/or tape measure 
  • Successfully complete the soldering techniques course and department skills training
  • Have the ability to use hand, air and power tools
  • Able to work from blueprints, process sheets or other work instructions
  • Able to work independently
  • Comply with all department and company rules
  • Some basic computer skills
