RMC is hiring a System Administrator to support one of our customers at Webster Field Annex in St. Inigoes, MD. The selected applicant will:

  • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers

  • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems

  • Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups

  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access

  • Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses

    Requirements

    A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field is required. In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant work experience or certifications/training are required. At least one (1) year of experience in network design, administration, procedures and troubleshooting is required. The selected applicants must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

    Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required . Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
