What will you do?

As a Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, you will:

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, soups, and other menu items according to the guests' orders and preferences

  • Ensure the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the final products

  • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized , and follow the local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.

  • Work collaboratively with your team members and managers , and provide feedback and coaching when needed.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive and memorable guest experience.

    What do we need from you?

    A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You can communicate clearly and courteously with your team members and guests, and you can handle feedback and requests with professionalism and kindness.

  • Proven kitchen/work experience: You have at least one year of experience working in a kitchen or a similar setting (preferred, not required). You know how to follow recipes, use kitchen equipment, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Multitasking and problem-solving skills: You can work quickly and efficiently to prepare meal items accurately per specification. You can also learn from mistakes and look for opportunities to help other departments even before being asked.

  • Flexibility and adaptability: You can work shifts that vary from week to week depending on customer traffic and time of year. Shifts start as early as 7 am and end around 11 pm Monday - Saturday.

  • You have to be at least 18 years old to be considered for the Sandwich Maker role at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe.
