Comfort Keepers of St. Cloud, MN Caregiver for Veterans in St. Cloud, Minnesota

Comfort Keepers® caregivers travel to clients’ homes to provide care services and living assistance. Ask about our FREE CNA classes.

Responsibilities:

  • Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.

  • Meal planning, cooking and baking

  • Conversation and companionship

  • Interactive Caregiving

  • Errands and transportation

  • Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living

  • Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene

  • Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment

  • Assistance with medication

  • Dementia or Alzheimer’s care

  • End of life care

  • Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed

  • Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required throughout your work day

  • Driver's License

  • 3 years of driving experience

  • Clean driving record

  • Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • State and Federal background check and fingerprinting

  • Help both male and female clients with personal cares

  • Lift 50 pounds safely

  • Work history that shows excellent attendance 

  • Work history that show job retention

  • Strong work ethic 

  • Ability to work independently

  • Positive work references 

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Professional image

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
