Non CDL Delivery Driver

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Non-CDL Delivery Driver . The position will be responsible distributing products promptly and safely to our customers in a safe and professional manner.

What you will be doing:

  • Must be able to safely operate a non-CDL 26’ Straight truck.

  • Must meet local and state DL license requirements to operate a non-CDL commercial vehicle.

  • Transport product from warehouse/shipping yard to jobsite.

  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.

  • Unload shipment at jobsite.

  • Operate powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load and unload orders.

  • Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

  • Present bills and receipts for goods delivered.

  • Turn in receipts received from deliveries.

  • Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.

  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.

    The skills and experience you need:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

  • At least two (2) years of verifiable driving experience.

  • Must have a clean driving record.
