Description

The Radiologic Technologist II will:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and computed tomography.
  • Perform daily check of the work area.
  • Perform department ancillary functions
  • Provides education to patients and staff.
  • Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer.

WEEKEND OPTION: Work two 12-hour shifts every weekend (48 hours per pay period) and get paid for 72 hours per pay period!Shift: 8:30 AM-9:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Enrolled in a CT correspondence course.
  • Must satisfy 90-day probationary period to begin CT training.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont in good standing.
  • CT Certified (preferred; required after 2 years of initial training)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and functions independently.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
