We are hiring a great opportunity for a Senior Physical Security (PHYSEC) Specialist - Top Secret clearance. This position will be based in Springfield, VA and the position is required to be onsite. This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Responsibilities

The Senior Physical Security Specialist (PHYSEC) will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of physical security. The Senior Physical Security Specialist (PHYSEC) will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of physical security. This position may also be leveraged by the Government Security Team to provide SCIF Construction support and back-up Program Security Administration.

Qualifications

The Senior Physical Security Specialist (PHYSEC) shall have a minimum 7 years’ experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience in the following:

• Experience in drafting and executing Construction Security Plan (CSPs).• Technical expertise in the interpretation and implementation of ICD/S 705 Technical Specifications.• Expertise in managing an Access Control System (ACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and closes circuit camera systems.• Experience and knowledge of how to create and implement an Emergency Action Plan (EAP).• Experience conducting a physical security inspection of a SCIF.• Experience completing a Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and TEMPEST Checklist.• Experience and knowledge in applying security in depth concepts as they pertain to Facility Security Level (FSL).• Experience in Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP).• Experience using Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).

Desired Qualifications:• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SPFC).• Physical Security Certification (PSC).• 7 or more years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.• 5 years’ experience in Operating an ACS.• Experience in completing an ICD/S 705 Shipboard Checklist.• Experience creating and issuing badges.• Experience overseeing the construction of a mobile SCIF.• Experience in applying TEMPEST countermeasures.• CDSE PSC Certification or IC equivalent.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
