CACI is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer in the Springfield, VA area.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Instructional Systems Designers (ISD’s) create learning experiences through multiple delivery modalities that result in the effective transfer of knowledge and skills that can be immediately applied into operations.

More About the Role:

  • Design and develop learning solutions through multiple methods (classroom, blended, synchronous/asynchronous online, video, and performance support) to create effective learning solutions.

  • Use instructional systems design strategies, methodologies, multimedia principles, instructional technology tools, adult learning principles, and cognitive science theory, the ISD also designs and develops of curriculum courses, workshops, seminars, and performance support tools.

  • Develop and implement strategies for engagement with stakeholders to determine learning needs, perform requirements analyses, and provide consultative support on which learning solutions best meet training requirements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Technology, or related field from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution.

  • 5+ years of experience managing the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions. Possesses understanding of adult learning theories (e.g., cognitive, experiential, constructivism), human factors, instructional design, andragogy principles, SAFe Agile, and educational technologies to design effective learning solutions.

  • Understands Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and Section 508 to incorporate into solution design and ensure compatibility and compliance in development and delivery of learning solutions.

  • Possesses strong communications skills and extremely organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing schedules and effectively managing expectations across stakeholder groups.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Articulate, and Adobe Suites of tools, and experience with Learning Content Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard).

  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required.
